Who Is Looking Good for Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
Seemingly as fast as it started a few weeks ago, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have pulled up stakes on training camp and guys can go back to their homes while those battling for a job/career can stay at the hotel.
With one preseason victory in the books, here are a few observations about Camp Raheem 2011:
No one has to worry about Josh Freeman. This young workaholic is a dream for fans and coaches.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Things are very iffy regarding second round pick Brian Price. He is a long way from being ready to play although Morris says he's a month away, that may be the always-optimistic one being overly optimistic. They don't want to have to put price on the PUP list but he may end up there. After that, you wonder if he'll play at all this season.
Frank Okam. With Price virtually useless right now and Gerald McCoy questionable, big Frank has looked good, has stepped up his game and he's got the physical size the Bucs have been pining for. This guy could end up as a real find.
Mason Foster has won the starting Mike linebacker job and the only controversy in this camp was Tyrone McKenzie's claim that there was no real competition. The coaching staff's take is that Foster has out-performed McKenzie.
Dez Briscoe is the name popping up among the wide receivers. With Arrelious Benn on the sidelines, Briscoe stepped in and performed. He's right behind Benn on the depth chart and it's nice to have him game-ready if Benn is not.
Jeremy Trueblood is the starting right tackle. That was the only offensive line position where there was supposed to be a competition but it sounds as if James Lee has not shown enough to make this an ongoing battle.
Tight end is a mystery. Obviously we don't need to see Kellen Winslow in the preseason. Morris is raving that he looks better than ever. After Winslow, it gets testy. Luke Stocker is second on the depth chart but hasn't been able to play with his hip injury but is now running around. The Bucs picked up Collin Franklin on waivers from the Jets and the 6-6, 256-pounder is turning a few heads. Right now there are five tight ends behind Winslow and they will probably only keep two of those guys. They're not going to cut Stocker so you've basically got four guys battling for one spot.
Kregg Lumpkin is emerging as the candidate for the guy to back up LeGarrette Blount.
Da'Quan Bowers is itching to get into a game.
There is a lot of depth at linebacker.
Best rookie in camp? It's not even close -- Adrian Clayborn. The right end position is his alone. This guy has shown strength, good moves, he's explosive. He's everything they needed at defensive end.
Best free agent acquisition? The only free agent acquisition -- Michael Koenen. This guy will help this football team when they start play.
Best thing of all about camp Raheem?
No one has suffered a serious injury.
Knock on wood.
