Fantasy Football: An Englishman's Odyssey into This Strange World
As an Englishman mildly obsessed with American Football, I thought it was high time to delve into the tricky world of fantasy football.
But let's get one thing straight: Your fantasy football is a lot different to ours!
What is all this draft business? Why do I only pick half a side? Lots of questions have been raised and since dealt with.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In fantasy football (EPL) a manager is given £100 million and asked to pick a squad of 15 and then narrow that down to a team of 11 for every match.
A captain and vice-captain are also picked, a captain's points are doubled each week, and points are given for scoring, assists, and clean sheets (no goals conceded) and deducted for goals conceded, bookings, and sending-offs.
Simple.
My brother and I decided that this was our fantasy year. We organised a draft and created two teams each, and the fun began.
Now, I was dubious of the whole concept of the draft, but I am definitely a convert.
While I am in rainy old England, my brother is currently a soccer coach living in California, so our fantasy Skype draft was an absolute blast!
We both like to think that we know enough about the NFL to make a good go at this fantasy stuff, but I am hoping that the great community of B/R can help me crush my brother without mercy!
Here are our teams:
My Team 1
Aaron Rodgers, Ray Rice, LeSean McCoy, Andre Johnson, Miles Austin, Vernon Davis, Vincent Jackson, Sebastian Janikowski, Eagles D
BENCH: Matt Ryan, Tony Gonzales, Anquan Boldin, Julio Jones, Mark Ingram
My Team 2
Tom Brady, Adrian Peterson, Chris Johnson, Greg Jennings, DeSean Jackson, Antonio Gates, Michael Turner, Billy Cundiff, Jets D
BENCH: Jahvid Best, Wes Welker, Hakeem Nicks, Big Ben, Frank Gore, Kellen Wilnslow
His Team 1
Philip Rivers, Arian Foster, Darren McFadden, Calvin Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Rashard Mendenhall, Mason Crosby, Packers D
BENCH: Matt Stafford, Ryan Grant, Dallas Clark, Addai, Peyton Manning, Santonio Holmes
His Team 2
Michael Vick, Jamaal Charles, Stephen Jackson, Reggie White, Larry Fitzgerald, Jason Witten, Jones-Drew, Matt Bryant, Steelers D
BENCH: Marshawn Lynch, Chad Ochocinco, Peyton Hillis, Jermichael Finley, Deion Branch, Josh Freeman
I think I've done pretty well out of our draft, but I would love your thoughts on who to pick up and who to drop.
This is an amateur plea to the experts out there: Please help spread the NFL fantasy world to here, across the pond.
But, most importantly, HELP ME BEAT MY BROTHER!!!!
Thank You.
