Chelsea Defender Alex Could Become a Juventus Player Within a Week
In previous seasons, Juventus' back line has often cost them a high finish overall on the table. Generally, it has been the left and right backs who have been the culprits for leaked goals, but with the signings of Lichtsteiner and Ziegler, Juventus look to have solved the issue.
Now, to finish off the bolstering of the defensive line, Juve are looking to add a bit of experience by signing Chelsea centre back Alex.
According to Goal.com, Juventus will try to secure the services of the Brazilian in the coming weeks.

He would prove to be a useful addition since Juventus only have one or two replacement centre backs for the Bonucci and Chiellini partnership. The 29-year-old also has the ability to take powerful free kicks and is tactically gifted.
However, securing the services of Alex will not prove to be an easy task for the Bianconeri.
The defender recently started in Chelsea's disappointing scoreless draw against Stoke, proving that he is still a part of Villas-Boas' plans. With David Luiz carrying a niggling injury, Alex just might find himself getting more playing time with Chelsea than he initially expected.
The English club is also able to offer Champions League football to Alex, something Juventus are working towards.
Alex is tied to Chelsea until 2013 and therefore a bid would have to be well in excess of his current market value.
