The 3 Top Fantasy Football Options on the Oakland Raiders 2011 Roster

Adam SpencerJun 7, 2018

The Oakland Raiders have some players with pretty high potential.

They have a big-armed quarterback in Jason Campbell, a dynamic running back in Darren McFadden and speedy wide receivers in Darrius Heyward-Bey and Louis Murphy.

But, Campbell is inconsistent, McFadden is injury-prone and Heyward-Bey and Murphy have been disappointing in their first couple years in the NFL.

So, will they be able to put it together and have a decent fantasy football season in 2011?

Let's take a look at the Raiders' three best fantasy options for the upcoming season.

3. Jason Campbell, QB

1 of 3

Campbell seems confident in himself during training camp this season.

He went 6-for-9 in his limited action against the Arizona Cardinals last week.

If he can continue to have a strong preseason and develop a chemistry with Murphy and Heyward-Bey, he could develop into a decent backup QB for your fantasy team.

And, he could be a good guy to start if your starting QB is on a bye week.

2. Kevin Boss, TE

2 of 3

Boss didn't really get involved in the New York offense.

But, now that he's in Oakland, he'll have a larger role offensively.

Expect Boss to catch over 50 passes and become a larger threat in the red zone.

He could develop into Campbell's go-to guy and could be a good option as a second-tier fantasy tight end.

1. Darren McFadden, RB

3 of 3

McFadden had his first 1,000-yard rushing season in 2010, despite playing in only 13 games.

He ran for seven touchdowns and 1,157 yards total.

He also had more than 500 receiving yards and another three touchdowns.

If he can stay healthy, he could have 1,400 rushing yards and 600 receiving yards in 2011.

That sounds like a guy I'd love to have on my fantasy football team.
