MVP or MIP - Who is more Important for the Saints?

For the New Orleans Saints, Drew Brees may be the Most Valuable Player, but Reggie Bush’s absence (due to injury), has proven he is their Most Important Player. Without any doubt, Brees’ performance is outstanding in the Saints offensive scheme. However, Reggie Bush is indeed the centerpiece of the team’s offensive attack. The Saints appeared lost without Bush. Payton appeared lost. A lost sense of identity. They lacked a sense of purpose. Why is it so and how can this be true?
