WWE SummerSlam 2011 Results: What We've Learned from Kelly Kelly's Win

SummerSlam has come and gone and we still have a candy striper as Divas champion.

Kelly Kelly puled the ultimate upset and defeated the Glamazon with a roll-up to retain the butterfly but this war is far from over.

If anything, the sexy Kelly's win keeps this feud alive and more interesting than ever before.

I paid attention to this match very carefully and as much as K2 had fans cheering for her, so did Beth Phoenix. The crowd erupted when her music started playing and she came out wearing a new outfit perhaps signalling the arrival of a new era.

I believe the WWE Universe actually wants things to change for the ladies and they put their faith in the Glamazon.

Eve Torres was in Kelly's corner while Natalya accompanied her friend, Beth. Together, these sisters of destruction are known as "The Divas of Doom." A nice ring to it if you think they would bring about the end of the old division and create a new and improved one.

As much as I was disappointed with Phoenix's loss, I realized next month is Night of Champions and this angle as just become so much hotter.

Expect a rematch next month. Expect these four females to battle it out in and outside the ring over the course of the next few weeks and finally, expect Beth Phoenix to become champion. She will then get on the short list of ladies to have held both the women's and Divas championships.

There is a huge difference between Divas like Beth Phoenix and Natalya and those that accompanied Cee-Lo Green during his performance. If this were real life, none of those princesses could stand a chance against the Divas of Doom.

Natalya is equally impressive and she too may get a piece of Kelly Kelly sooner rather than later. Where Beth failed, the Canadian amazon would triumph.

Kharma will return eventually and what will she be returning to?

With either "sister of destruction" at the helm. the monster will return to meet a real challenge...no, make that a real threat!

Things have gotten interesting in the Divas division...finally!

It is long overdue.
