Chris Johnson Trade Speculation: Would Teams Be Interested?
Of course they would!
Chris Johnson—CJ2K, as he is called—is one of the best runners in the NFL right now. Johnson is coming to the end of his rookie contract and looking for big money.
With his playmaking ability, Johnson can make anyone a contender—and he is still young.

Now, Tennessee claims they intend to make him the highest paid running back in the NFL. But with the Titans' history of being penny-pinchers, I doubt that. And apparently so does Johnson.
So, would teams be interested in trading for Johnson's services?
Obviously, the interest would be very high around the league. Johnson is a special kind of player and only comes around once every generation. The asking price in this hypothetical situation would be very high, if not completely absurd—and the contract that he demands is going to be very high against the cap.
But for a blue-chip game-breaker, the price is always right.
I think teams with the most interest would be the Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins to name a few.
His ability to take pressure off a quarterback will be very attractive to teams looking to create a good running foundation.
Will the Titans part with their superstar, though? A player that you can build a franchise around? For their sake, I hope not.
In the words of the NFL Network analysts, "PAY THE MAN!"
