Washington Redskins Steal From Dallas Cowboys Bye-Week Playbook: Vacation!

I have to admit, I was one of those Dallas Cowboys fans not too happy when some players went to Mexico during the playoffs bye-week before the game against the eventual Super Bowl champions New York Giants. I thought it was a poor coaching decision and bad judgment of the players who thought it was a good idea. I don’t care how many teams or players or coaches have done it in the history of the game, it’s a bad idea. It’s business during the bye week.

Well, apparently the Washington Redskins are stealing from that playbook. According to the Web site Mr. Irrelevant, the Redskins went to Disney World! Hey man, it’s like they already won the Super Bowl, so why the hell not, right? You can read the post here.

Heck, tight end Chris Cooley is even talking about it on his own blog right here. So, when Cooley gets his face knocked off in the game this weekend, he can blame it on Disney World! When the Redskins lose this game, the fans can blame it on Jim Zorn who allowed his two kids to go to Disney World! Here is what fuzzy-head Cooley said himself:

Jason and I decided to take a trip for the bye week. We originally planned on taking the girls to Miami and just hanging at the beach but they thought it would be more fun to hit up Disney World. So we are here in Orlando (I will write a trip post tomorrow). For now, here are my picks for week 10. Since it is known that I am a former Broncos fan, I would have picked Denver in this weeks game.
