Cleveland Indians 'Walk' off Against Detroit Tigers
By the time the bottom of the 14th Inning came around at Progressive Field in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, the fans were tired and restless. John Adams' drum in the left field bleachers was still beating, but other than a few voices screaming "Let's Go Tribe", the fans left in the stadium were about ready to head on home.
After a two hour and three minute rain delay, that shortened the starts of Doug Fister of the Tigers and Justin Masterson of the Indians, Tribe fans were finally able to watch what was frankly, 11 innings of un-exciting baseball.
While both bullpens were brilliant, neither the Tigers nor Indians could get anything going offensively. The closest opportunity was when Indians outfielder Michael Brantley failed on a suicide squeeze attempt that left Jason Donald in the middle of the third base line where he was tagged out by Tigers catcher Alex Avila.

Finally, the 14th inning rolled around near 1:40 a.m.
The bottom of the 14th started with singles by Asdrubal Cabrera and Travis Hafner, and an intentional walk to Carlos Santana, loading the bases for one of the newest members of the Tribe, Kosuke Fukudome.
After battling against Tigers reliever David Pauley, Fukudome was grazed by a pitch on his elbow, walking in Cabrera, and winning what was a somewhat uneventful, yet extremely important, game for the Indians.
The Tribe now stands three games behind Detroit with two games left in this pivotal series. Tommorow's matchup features the Tiger's Rick Porcello pitted against Tribe front man Ubaldo Jimenez in his Progressive Field debut.
