WWE News: Goldberg Hinting at a 2011 Return? (Video)

Tom Urtz Jr.Jun 1, 2018

Bill Goldberg or simply known as Goldberg, participated in an autograph signing earlier this year. However a youtube video popped up recently in which he briefly discusses a potential return to the ring.

He also states if he could pick an opponent for his return match it would be against Stone Cold Steve Austin.

He was last seen in the WWE being stunned by Stone Cold Steve Austin after his match with Brock Lesnar at Wrestemania XX. Goldberg's contract ran out with WWE and failed to resign.

There were also rumors at one point indicating that Goldberg would reappear on Monday Nitro 2.0 aka Impact Wrestling. Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan are supposedly buddy buddy with the ex WCW and WWE star and he has even been mentioned on an episode of Impact when the phrase "Who's Next" was dropped.

Goldberg would be a nice addition if he came back but the big question surrounding a potential return is how and when would he return. He could make his return as a guest entrant in the Royal Rumble as many returning stars do.

At the end of the day Goldberg was one of the most entertaining stars in WCW history and if he can still hack it, he could work a couple different feuds with a couple of different superstars.

This should be taken with a grain of salt because it appears that he almost has a comeback each and every year.

If Goldberg were to comeback I could see him being thrust into a feud with Chris Jericho if he returned by then. They never got to work a lengthy feud with matches in WCW so it could be a hot storyline. Another player could be CM Punk

If you combine anyone with CM Punk you could have some success. All that remains clear right now is that this is just pure speculation.

If he decides to comeback, great but if not no one will lose sleep over.
