According to The Indianapolis Star, South African Tomas Scheckter will rejoin Dreyer & Reinbold Racing at New Hampshire for the Izod IndyCar Series race this weekend.  He will replace Justin Wilson in the number 22 Honda.

Wilson was involved in a practice wreck at Mid-Ohio on Saturday and was replaced for the race by rookie Simon Pagenaud.

This isn't the first time Tomas has stepped in for an injured driver at Dreyer & Reinbold.  Last season he filled in for Mike Conway in the number 24 Honda at Texas, Toronto, and Edmonton with a best finish of 13th in Texas.

Tomas also raced during the 2009 season in select events for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing.  He ended up with three top 10's in 2009 with a best finish of sixth in Iowa.

As of now this is a one race deal, but don't be surprised if Tomas gets the ride for the remaining ovals on the schedule.
