Week 11:Prime Predictions In The NFL.

Welcome to week 11 in the NFL. I will break down these match-ups  for the coming week as the season hits an important segment in play-off alignment for teams hoping for a good post season.

The Jets play New England Thursday  night for supremacy in the AFC East. This game is in New England and should be a good one.The Jets have been scoring a lot of points most games. New England has been playing good defense. I think this one comes down to quarterback play and i have to give the edge to the Jets.  Jets by four.

Carolina is at home against Detroit who remains win-less. Carolina plays at home very well. That should continue this week. Carolina wins easy.

Philadelphia travels to Cincinnati  after a disappointing loss to the Giants. The Eagles should bounce back on the road and take care of the Bengals. Look for a good defensive effort and a win by Philadelphia this week.

Chicago travels to Green Bay, This division race is heating up. Green Bay is 4-5 while Chicago is 5-4. The Packers have played well after losing games and i expect a good game from Aaron Rodgers. The Packers should win a close one.

New Orleans will win a game on the road at last as they travel to Kansas City. Too many things point to the Saints to win this game on the road.

Baltimore will travel to the Giants home field Sunday and obviously have their work cut out for them. The Giants are the NFC front runner to make it back to the Super Bowl. Giants at home by 7]seven or eight points.

Denver travels to the surprise Atlanta Falcons team and faces a hot rookie of the year candidate in Matt Ryan. This could be a tough road trip for Denver who escaped Cleveland last week. This quarterback is not playing like a rookie, and Atlanta is thinking play-offs. Falcons win this one.

Minnesota visits Tampa Bay and a good run defense. It s a question of Tampa Bays offense getting untracked after a bye week. Tampa to win a close one on Sunday at home.

Indianapolis returns home after a great win against Pittsburgh. Look for Indy to win against Houston who isn t a good road team this season.

Miami should play better this coming week as they make it to 6-4 against Oakland. Miami is at home again and it looks like they will make a run to get to the play-offs.

The Rams travel to San Francisco. This is a bad season for both ,shall we say rebuilding franchises. This will probably be a close game, but i will give the nod to the 49ers at home.

Tennessee travels to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars. This could be what you call a trap game. No one expects the Jags to win. No one but me! Take the Jags in an upset this week!

Arizona takes their offensive fireworks to Seattle in what should be a winner for the Cardinals. Seattle has not shown a lot at home or on the road this season.

Dallas takes on Washington at home and i have to think the Cowboys will play well with their back against the wall. Tony Romo should return and avenge the home loss they suffered to the Redskins earlier in the season. Dallas by a touchdown.

San Diego just seems very average this year and i can t see the Steelers losing this game at home. Steelers win this one with no problem!

Finally Monday Night Football gives us Cleveland playing Buffalo. Buffalo is having a rough time. I think the league has basically figured this team out! Brady Quinn gets his 1st win this weekend!

88-56 for the season. This week looks ok for more wins than losses.
