Neymar Agent: Real Madrid Not an Option Until 2012

According to a report from the ESPN Soccernet website, Wagner Ribeiro (Neymar's agent) made declarations concerning Neymar and Real Madrid.

Ribeiro told Folha de Sao Paulo that the reports about Neymar and Real Madrid are "speculation."

Ribeiro went further and stated that an agreement with Real Madrid is "not an option until 2012." Neymar said yesterday that he was not interested in Barca or Madrid at the present time.

The news comes after Luis Alvaro Ribeiro (Santos chief) reiterated last week that Neymar formally rejected an offer from Real Madrid.

Ribeiro had previously threatened to launch a complaint against Real Madrid for approaching Neymar or his agent without permission from Santos.

In other news, Neymar talked with FIFA.com about the future match between FC Barcelona and Santos. Neymar expressed his faith that Santos can face FC Barcelona "head to head."
