NFL Debate: Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, or Larry Fitzgerald?
People will forever debate who is the best at certain positions in football. The most popular ones seem to be Brady and Manning at the all-important quarterback position, Adrian Peterson and Chris Johnson and running back, or even FS and SS Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu.
When it comes to the best wide receiver in the game today, this one seems to be a three-person debate.
Looking first at Andre Johnson, you have one of the biggest and toughest receivers out there. He is in a Houston Texans offense that is just electric. They have so many weapons and he has an underrated quarterback getting him the ball. They have some big-play threats on this team, but not one bigger than Andre. He is physical, fast and runs very smooth routes. When it comes to a jump ball with a corner, it's not even close.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The other Johnson is just as physical, and just as big as Andre. Calvin has been a star in Detroit since the day they drafted him. He is a freak of nature and has already laid down some very impressive highlight reels. If his quarterback could ever stay healthy, he would have a chance to put up some monster numbers. Barry Sanders is not in that backfield, so the pressure is on Johnson and Matt Stafford to move the offense. Even without Stafford, Calvin has been able to be among the league's best, year in and year out.
Larry Fitzgerald is a guy that was easily the best receiver in the game when the Cardinals went to the Super Bowl. He lost Kurt Warner and he basically fell off the map. He wasn't injured, but Arizona may as well had you or me under center trying to get him the ball. You knew he was frustrated, but he kept his cool and has really been a class act about the situation he was in. Now with Kevin Kolb, he will look to produce the same kind of numbers that put him into the discussion of being the best receiver in the game.
Choosing one of these guys above the other two is virtually impossible. That is an extremely difficult decision to make. Fortunately though, there is no "wrong answer," as you really can't go wrong with any of these guys. They are all three elite receivers, and will continue to be for a long time. They are all still relatively young, and it appears as though they all have a good, young quarterback that they can grow with over the next several years.
