Madden NFL 12: A Reason To Play With Every Single Team

No NameJun 7, 2018

With the release of a new Madden game just three weeks away, we can look forward to seeing the new looking teams take to the field. It seems like every year there is a new "favorite" team that people play with online. There is no doubt that this year, we will see a lot of people playing with the Eagles, Packers, Patriots, and Chargers.

Even though the bad teams won't be used much outside of their respective cities and fans, there is still at least one reason to use every team in the game. You may be at a disadvantage depending on your opponent, but you might just find something that clicks. Taking a look at all 32 teams, I will give you at least one reason to play with each and every single one of them.

Green Bay Packers

1 of 32

Obviously, slinging the rock around with Rodgers and the defending champs will be fun. Actually getting to see Ryan Grant on the field again will also provide some excitement.

Chicago Bears

2 of 32

Anytime you get to take control of this defense is a good time. Cutler has a new toy to play with, but Forte and Barber in the backfield will be unstoppable.

Detroit Lions

3 of 32

The Stafford to Johnson connection is always a great way to go on offense. This is an underrated defense as well.

Minnesota Vikings

This could be one of the most used teams online with the addition of McNabb and the best running back in the game. The defense should still be solid, but the focus will obviously be on AP and Donovan.

Philadelphia Eagles

5 of 32

This is another team that will be used heavily online, and for good reason. Known now as the "dream team" of the NFL, they are going to be tough to beat with all of their weapons on both offense and defense.

Dallas Cowboys

6 of 32

A healthy Romo with Miles Austin and Dez Bryant on opposite sides is fun for the offense. A two headed monster of Felix and DeMarco in the backfield is also intriguing.

New York Giants

7 of 32

If you love having a balanced offensive attack, this team is for you. The defense isn't half bad either, especially on the line.

Washington Redskins

8 of 32

Roaming in the middle of the defense with Brian Orakpo is fun, and using the hit stick with LaRon Landry is great. Using this team probably means you don't care too much for offense.

New Orleans Saints

9 of 32

It's always fun tossing the pigskin around with Drew Brees. Getting a look at Mark Ingram should also be very interesting.

Atlanta Falcons

10 of 32

If you love offense, this could be the team for you. Already having Roddy White, Matt Ryan becomes even more unstoppable with the addition of rookie sensation Julio Jones. Don't forget to look for Tony Gonzalez and Michael Turner, either.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

11 of 32

An underrated team that should be used more this year. A really good offensive team that has a quality defense as well. You can't go wrong running the ball with Blount.

Carolina Panthers

12 of 32

Nobody wanted to play with this team last year, but this year things will change. Cam Newton brings a new dimension to the game, and DeAngelo Williams at full strength is unstoppable, especially now that Steve Smith is a legit weapon again. Beason and the defense are always fun too.

San Francisco 49ers

13 of 32

Offensive weapons like Gore, Davis, Crabtree and Edwards are nice, but I have just four words for you. Patrick Willis Hit Stick.

St. Louis Rams

14 of 32

Whether you want to throw with Bradford or run over people with Jackson, the offense will be fun. The defense will be better, too.

Seattle Seahawks

15 of 32

This is suddenly a very athletic offense with Lynch and the new additions of Tarvaris Jackson and Sidney Rice. Anytime you get to play a game at Qwest field is fun.

Arizona Cardinals

16 of 32

This is suddenly a fun team to play with again. Fitzgerald is back on the map now that Kolb is in the desert. If you like defense, you can't go wrong with Adrian Wilson and Patrick Peterson.

Pittsburgh Steelers

17 of 32

This team has everything you want. A great passing game, running game, and arguably the best defense in the game. You can never go wrong playing with Pittsburgh.

Baltimore Ravens

18 of 32

Running around with either Ray is always exciting in Baltimore. Ed Reed flying around the ball never gets old either. The rivalry game with the Steelers is guaranteed to be a ball.

Cleveland Browns

19 of 32

Pounding defenses by running cover boy Peyton Hillis all day is a blast. Colt should be better, so maybe you can start passing the ball too.

Cincinnati Bengals

20 of 32

You won't have a great quarterback yet, but anyone will do just so you can get the ball to AJ Green. If that doesn't work, you still have Cedric Benson to slice through the defense.

New England Patriots

21 of 32

If you just want to score on every possession and rack up the offensive numbers, the new Brady to Ocho connection is perfect for you. They will actually have a good defense this year to go along with that explosive offense.

New York Jets

22 of 32

Sanchez has some new toys in Plaxico and Mason to go along with Santonio, but don't forget about the running attack of Green and L.T. You can never go wrong using this dominating defense either.

Miami Dolphins

23 of 32

Henne to Marshall is okay, but I am more interested in the running game with Daniel Thomas and Reggie Bush. Jason Taylor is back in Miami too, increasing the value of the defense.

Buffalo Bills

24 of 32

They now have a solid offense in Buffalo, but a lot of people should be geared up to use this defense. The secondary is very good, and the linebackers are solid.

Indianapolis Colts

25 of 32

How many yards can you rack up in a single game with Peyton? There are a ton of targets, so make sure you try to hit them all. The run defense should be better this year, so don't worry about giving up 300 yards per game on the ground.

Houston Texans

26 of 32

Houston could be one of the favorite teams this year. An offense that includes Foster, Schaub, and the best receiver in the game Andre Johnson will provide plenty of thrills. The addition of Johnathan Joseph should ease those worries of giving up 400 yards through the air.

Jacksonville Jaguars

27 of 32

It is always a joy using Jones-Drew as a bowling ball, especially when there are no receivers to throw to. The defense should be greatly improved this year, so using any of those new linebackers will be nice.

Tennessee Titans

28 of 32

The addition of Hasselbeck should relieve the pressure on Chris Johnson, which means you can get back to racking up the yards on the ground. The defense will be a little more exciting with Ruud as well.

San Diego Chargers

29 of 32

This will be an exciting team for sure this year. Rivers has a healthy Antonio Gates to throw to, as well as Vincent Jackson and Malcom Floyd. Running the ball with Ryan Mathews is a treat. Looking at the tandem at safety with Eric Weddle and Bob Sanders, my mouth is already watering.

Kansas City Chiefs

30 of 32

One of my favorite teams to use already. Cassel will be better with targets like Bowe, Breaston, Baldwin, and McCluster. Running through defenses with Jamaal Charles is also great. This defense is electric, with Johnson and Hali at linebacker, both Brandons at corner, and Eric Berry at safety.

Denver Broncos

31 of 32

Tebow may not be the starter in real life, but you can use him as much as you want in Denver. Moreno and McGahee will be a great combo in the backfield to use as well.

Oakland Raiders

32 of 32

It is pretty simple when you play with Oakland this year. You are going to pound the rock with McFadden all day, and occasionally give Jason Campbell a shot at going deep with play action.
