My Take on the BCS...before This Week’s Rankings

Look, USC won, sure. But they did nothing to show that they are worthy of jumping ahead of Florida, Texas, and Oklahoma—all fellow one-loss teams. Style points were MISSING in a big way from that win against Cal.

 

Here’s how I’d rank the BCS this week:

1. Alabama

2. Texas Tech

3. Utah

4. Florida

5. Texas

6. Oklahoma

7. USC

8. Penn State

9. Ohio State

10. Boise State

 

Utah is undefeated, has faced more ranked opponents than USC, and still has BYU on their schedule. They SHOULD jump the one-loss teams.

But will they? Stay Tuned.
