Guess Who Is Back, Mr. Kennedy!

Joe Burgett Nov 9, 2008

As usual I have dug up some dirt on when SmackDown's Mr. Kennedy will be back to the WWE. As you may know he has been out for a while after his surgery that he had down in Birmingham, Alabama.

Of course he had it with world renowned surgeon Dr. James Andrews, who has worked on Bret Favre and other sports figures. He also did both of Triple H's knee surgeries, and even Randy Orton's collar bone surgery.

But onto the the return, I found it in the Miami Herald, here it is:

He said his projected return date is February 28. "Dr. [James] Andrews did my surgery and said it was going to be a long, slow road to recovery, about six months," Kennedy said.

"Right now my projected return date is February 28, but I could end up coming back early, or it could take a little bit longer than that, but I'm hoping for an early return. I feel pretty good. I've been rehabbing on my own, and I've been working out everyday in the gym.

Obviously, I'm chomping at the bit. I hate being off for this long. It's nice to have a little bit of a break, but to be off this much is a bummer."

Kennedy also said he prefers working on Smackdown rather than RAW. "Raw's a little more competitive, and there's a lot more depth on Raw as far as a lot of the top stars are over there, and it is the flagship show for WWE," Kennedy said.

"For an up-n-comer, it was a little bit different experience, and I was glad that I had that experience. I'm also very, very glad to be back over on SmackDown, working with Michael Hayes who is the lead writer for SmackDown and head of creative."

Of course It could be found on the Miamai Herald website, if you want to know more. Or if you want to know how bad the Miami Heat stink this year.

I think this is good for the WWE. I mean Kennedy is one of the WWE's top stars and when he is healthy he is one of the most fun to watch in my opinion.

Going to SmackDown was better for him. He had been getting really good exposure there before his injury of course. He may even get an opportunity at the WWE Title that he really does deserve when he gets back.

I mean it better than seeing Triple H hold it another year, and we know the WWE apparently does not want to see Jeff Hardy win it, so why not Kennedy? He has all the tools. And it wouldn't be a shocker if he won, as it would if it were a guy like R-Truth or MVP.

Also on a sort of related note, the WWE said they are going to be promoting Mr. Kennedy's new movie, Behind Enemy Lines 3, soon. It is a straight to DVD movie, that is around the same storyline as the other two.

It is supposed to be coming out mid-January, so once it comes out go to movie gallery or Blockbuster and rent it, seriously don't buy it, what if it isn't good?

Anyway tell me your opinion on Kennedy, are you excited about the future comeback?
