The College Football Games To Watch.

It is almost that time.  Waking up on Saturday mornings, grabbing some coffee, and sitting in front of the t.v. until the last Pac-12 game is over.  I can’t wait.  There is no better feeling in the world (to me) than when the heat of summer turns into the brisk temperatures of Fall with college football on the t.v.  There are some big time games this year, and games that I can’t wait to see.  Here is a week by week look at the games I really wanna watch:

Friday, September 2nd:  

TCU at Baylor:  TCU finished last season as the #2 team in the nation.  Baylor had a winning season in 2010 and looks to be even better in ’11.

Saturday, September 3rd:

Boise State vs. Georgia:  Both teams are looking to hit the road running.  Boise State is always looking for respect and Georgia is trying to improve on a disappointing 2010 season.

LSU vs. Oregon (Arlington, Tx):  The biggest game of opening weekend.  Both teams have National Championship dreams.

Sunday, September  4th:

SMU @ Texas A&M:  Both teams have HIGH expectations this year.  The Aggies are a pre-season top 10 team, and SMU has a lot of returning talent.

Thursday, September 8th:

Arizona @ Oklahoma State:  Another game in which both teams need to start off well.  Both are looking for national respect.

Saturday, September 10th:

Mississippi State @ Auburn:  The Bulldogs had a great 2010, Auburn won it all.

Alabama @ Penn State:  Could be close, could be a blowout in favor of Bama.

Notre Dame @ Michigan:  Always a fun one to watch.  Denard Robinson is still around too.

Saturday, September 17th:

Texas @ UCLA:  Last year was ugly for the Horns and this is their first chance to show they have turned the corner.

Ohio State @ Miami:  The Buckeyes had a rough off season, the Hurricanes are looking to make noise in the ACC.

Oklahoma @ Florida State:  More coming later, but I think the Seminoles could win this one.  Big weekend in Florida.

Saturday, September 24th:

Oklahoma State @ Texas A&M:  Both teams looking to takeover Big 12 supremacy.

Saturday, October 1st:

SMU @ TCU:  DFW showdown.

Alabama @ Florida:  Florida needs a big win in 2011, this could be it.

Nebraska @ Wisconsin:  Lots of red and white on the field.

Auburn @ South Carolina:  SEC Championship game rematch.  Gamecocks may have upper hand this time.

Saturday, October 8th:

Oklahoma vs. Texas (Dallas, Tx):  The Red River Rivalry.  The best rivalry game in the nation.

Florida @ LSU:  Always entertaining.  Muschamp vs. The Grass Eater.

Saturday, October 15th:

Miami @ Virginia Tech:  Big ACC implications.

Oklahoma State @ Texas:  Cowboys are back in Austin.

Saturday, November 5th:

LSU @ Alabama:  SEC West might be up for grabs.

Texas A&M @ Oklahoma:  Will this still be a big game in November?  Aggies hope so.

Saturday, November 12th:

Miami @ Florida State:  For me, this game ALWAYS was big.  Lately, not so much.

Saturday, November 19th:

Harvard @ Yale:  I am not even sure I am smart enough to watch this.

USC @ Oregon:  Always a big game in the Pac-10, probably will be in the new Pac-12 as well.

Nebraska @ Michigan:  Two of the winningest programs of all time.  This one will just look good on the t.v.

Thursday, November 24th:

Texas @ Texas A&M:  Aggies try to win two in a row vs the Longhorns.

Saturday, November 26th:

Notre Dame @ Stanford:  Andrew Luck could be putting his final touches on a Heisman winning season.

Alabama @ Auburn:  Iron Bowl time.  Last years was epic.

Saturday, December 3rd:

Oklahoma @ Oklahoma State:  Bedlam ensues.

Saturday, December 10th:

Army vs. Navy:  There is a reason this game is the only one on this date.  Epic.
