Recap
A nearly full-strength Juventus came out to play, but the noticeable absence of Quagliarella fuels speculation about his apparent "argument" with Antonio Conte. Vidal was not present and is still acclimatising to the Italian weather.
In the end it was Juventus who ran out 8-0 winners and in turn developed some sensational passages of play, the least of which was a stunning left-foot finish by new signing Miko Vucinic.
Goal scorers included Matri, Marchisio, Vucinic, Pasquato, Luca Toni (who had a hat trick) and a Giuseppe Ruggeiro, who scored on a penalty.
With the TIM Cup fast approaching Juventus, the preseason friendly has shown that Juventus do have the presence going forward. Vucinic's debut in Juventus colours will surely be a boost as he not only grabbed a goal but secured two assists.
Juventus kick off their Serie A campaign against Udinese on the 28th of August.
