Floyd Mayweather Video: Watch Money and 50 Cent Get Love Before Las Vegas Brawl

Gabe ZaldivarJun 7, 2018

Allow me to state the obvious. What happens in Vegas can usually lead to a 50-person brawl at a strip club. The less-catchy motto fits perfectly for the night that 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather had recently.

The two were up in the strip club in late July. Their appearance at Deja Vu Strip Club wasn't all happiness and frivolity, though it seems to have started as such.

The posted video shows rapper G-Momo about to throw it down lyrically. Before he dives into some expletive-laced lyrics, he gives love to the celebrities in the house.

You can hear him give shout-outs to rap star 50 Cent and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather at the start of the video.

The odd thing is that the entire song goes on without any signs of violence brewing. That is a tad weird, considering what happened after the song concluded.

KTNV-TV reports both 50 Cent and Mayweather were present at Deja Vu when a brawl broke out between 50 or so men and women.

It seems Mayweather was not content to simply be in attendance. The report alleges that "Mayweather was extremely confrontational and argumentative with several police officers on scene." It includes allegations that Mayweather "challenged multiple citizens and officers to fight."

The fight apparently started when some fans tried to steal a necklace off of rapper Nipsey Hustle's neck. Regardless of Mayweather's intent, he picked the wrong time to finally pick a fight.

The boxer has famously ducked fighting Manny Pacquiao. Perhaps the Filipino pugilist should frequent Deja Vu if he wants a chance at rearranging Mayweather's face.

As a professional boxer and celebrity, it was Mayweather's responsibility to walk the other way when the fight broke out. Trouble, though, seems to keep finding Mayweather.

You would hope that a star athlete would know better than to continually end up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Then again, Floyd Mayweather has never been respected for his smarts.
