ONE FC To Stream First MMA Event Live Online

The Singapore based mixed martial arts promotion ONE Fighting Championship announced today that they will be streaming their first ever event live on the internet.

ONE FC announced via Twitter that Sherdog.com will be hosting the live stream for the September 3rd show.

It is unknown whether the event will be free to view online, but the fact that they are making the card accessible to a western audience indicates a wider targeted fan base.

The newly formed Asian promotion has been causing a stir as of late with founder and CEO Victor Cui touting that ONE FC will become "the UFC of Asia."

Already signed on for their inaugural event, billed as "Champion vs. Champion," are former UFC welterweights Yoshiyuki Yoshida and Phil Baroni as well as 2009 ADCC bronze medalist and Renzo Gracie black belt Gregor Gracie.

The card will also feature a lightweight bout between Muay Thai champion Ole Laursen and Filipino wushu and MMA star Eduard Folayang.

The event, set to take place on September 3rd, will be at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore, with seating available for up to 12,000 people.
