TNA Hardcore Justice 2011 Preview and Predictions

Justin WatryJun 7, 2018

Make no mistake about it, this show is the definition of a "throwaway show".

When people do not even know a PPV is two days away or can tell me more than the main event, there is a problem.

With that being said, I have a job to do and talking about the TNA PPV is on my agenda for today. Let's dive into the matches and see what is in store for this Sunday night...

With Jayson Tatum sidelined, Celtics' fourth-quarter comeback falls short in Game 7 loss to 76ers

Pope vs. Devon—this match will be good for a few laughs. I am still waiting for the Russo swerve of Pope being with Devon's wife and/or kids, you know the usual?

Honestly, even the biggest TNA fan has to see this whole thing as pointless. A winner? I will go with Pope just because Devon should be nowhere near a singles' push in 2011.

RVD vs. Crimson—Crimson wins. If RVD wins, I will never watch iMPACT again. Yeah, I said it. I will read online about TNA, catch some highlights of the shows, but I will never sit through a Thursday show again. Crimson wins. RVD needs to just go away.

His attitude is the last thing TNA needs right now behind the scenes...

Knockout's Championship: Mickie James vs Winter—Mickie wins. Angelina turns back into a zombie and Winter goes back to WWE to make some real money. Sadly, I do not expect that, except Mickie to retain here. For some reason, TNA seems dead set on a Velvet/Mickie match.

Bully Ray vs Anderson—Good to see this match get some build....not! As one of my many problems with TNA, I have no idea if Anderson is face, heel or the infamous tweener. Just let Bully Ray win, continue Anderson's burial and move on to...whatever Bully Ray wants next.

Tag Team Championship: Mexican America vs. Beer Money—Wow, Beer Money will probably lose the titles, but I am hoping beyond hope they retain. One of the few tag teams left in this business, the term "go away heat" is Mexican America...soon to be new tag team champions!

Fortune vs Immortal—Nice to see TNA remembered this little feud from earlier in the year! I am going to pick the Job Squad 2011 to win here—Immortal. Likely, Daniels is headed for a heel turn (huge shocker there) and a feud with AJ come BFG, maybe with Sloppy Joes involved.

X-Division Championship: Kendrick vs Shelley vs Austin—Aries is talented but being wasted in the X-Division. Kendrick is a joker. Shelley is a tag team wrestler for life. A winner?

Well, considering Kendrick supposedly picked up the biggest win of his career last month, I'd pick him to retain. Sadly, TNA tends to always ignore long-term building, so Aries gets the title.

TNA "World" Championship: Sting vs Angle—Please let Sing lose. Please? I will be a good boy until Christmas, please? Angle needs to win here, hold the title and drop it to the BFG series winner.

If TNA played their cards right (hahahahaha) it could truly be a "moment" come October, with Crimson or Gunner getting the title off of Angle.

That's the card. Do not feel guilty about not buying it. Not many people do, as I am sure the on-line folk already know. Maybe TNA could surprise us all and deliver a good show? I would be more than welcome to that.

Prove me wrong TNA. Prove me wrong!
