Dana White Says Chad Ochocinco Is "Crazy" If He Thinks He Can Beat GSP
With the NFL lockout now over, you'd think that guys like newly-signed New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco would stick to their day job.
Recently, MMAJunkie.com reported that the loudmouth football star touted that he could not only take on UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre, but he could beat him.
"I'm not going to lose to no [expletive] Canadian," Ochocinco, who recently signed a deal with MMA clothing company TapouT, said.
This recent publicity stunt has caught the attention of UFC President Dana White, a New Englander who, ironically, is a Patriots fan.
"This is a tough one for me because he's going to the Patriots, and I'm a Patriots fan. But he talks so much [expletive] man, it's unbelievable," White told the media during a press conference for this weekend's UFC 133.
"He's crazy," White said, "I don't know if he's just out there trying to get some more followers or if he's really that nuts. You need to stick to football."
This isn't the first time that Ochocinco has called out a UFC champion.
In March, he released a video challenging UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva, who is widely regarded as the pound-for-pound king.
We may never see Ochocinco enter the Octagon, but if he continues to run his mouth, then who knows what the future holds.
