Top 10 SportsCenter Commercials of All Time

SportsCenter has been around since 1979 and, if you are a sports fan, you have seen some of their commercials. ESPN is one of the best at combining sports and humor.

ESPN really looks like a fun work environment, as they always include anchors, athletes and mascots in their commercials.

Out of the several great commercials the network has put together, here are the top 10 SportsCenter commercials of all time.

Nothing More Beautiful Than Grass

Watching the Hilltopper eat it is enough for this video to make the top 10.

Imagine watching SportsCenter and seeing your favorite ESPN personalities trying to talk over a leaf blower. 

Potty Talk

Big Red is involved in another classic ESPN commercial, as he/she can't decide which restroom to go in. Let's settle this right now: what exactly is it, other than a red blob with a detached head? And is it a boy or a girl?

Captain America

We should have already known Carmelo Anthony wasn't Captain America, because the Captain wouldn't have run away after he threw a punch.

Lebron James Chair

Did you really expect a slideshow like this without LeBron James in it? This commercial should make most fans happy, since most believe he is not worthy of the "King" title. Looks like Scott Van Pelt was the first to take that title away from him.

Brett Favre System

This commercial could possibly really happen. Even after he retired for the 19th time, there are still reports that Brett Favre could be back, possibly with the Philadelphia Eagles or Miami Dolphins.

The Stanford Tree Is Always Watching

The Stanford tree is up there with the Big Red in terms of mascot goofiness. But when he is in the ESPN office, you better put the paper in the recycling bin.

Negotiations

Drew Rosenhaus is one of the top agents, if not the top agent, in sports. Forget being Captain America and having super powers; I'd rather have Rosenhaus' negotiating ability. 

Betrayal

Seeing David Ortiz in a Yankee cap, even in a commercial, is enough to run him out of Boston. I guess his 25-30 home runs a season is enough to forgive him.

Wally's reaction is priceless. 

Going Up?

What's worse than being trapped in an elevator with somebody who has gas? Being trapped in an elevator with a devil that is not going up.

I think Jay Harris' reaction would be the same one that most of us would have.

Although many may be a little too young to remember the whole Y2K incident, this commercial still has to be number one. Everybody was freaking out over the whole thing, and ESPN played off of it perfectly.

Seeing Mark McGwire should be enough evidence of roid rage. Also, notice John Randle, the only calm person throughout the video. He was a bad dude.
