According to the Indianapolis Star, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Brad Keselowski was taken to the hospital today after a wreck in a test session in Road America.

Keselowski was working on his road course skills in preparation for next weekends race at Watkins Glen.

According to the Star, the blue Miller Lite Dodge lost it's brakes and crashed head on into a wall that didn't have an energy absorbing barrier.Β

Keselowski climbed out of the car under his own power, but was taken to a local hospital for precautionary reasons.

His injuries are unknown, but he was posting photos on his twitter account of a swollen ankle and a cut on his foot.

He is due to be released tonight and should be fine to race this weekend in Pocono.

Keselowski is currently 21st in the Sprint Cup Series standings and in a tight fight for a wild-card berth in the Chase.
