Allsports thinks the Devils are screwed without Martin

Well unless your living somewhere that does not carry the web you would have found out through the sports news that Martin Brodeur is going to be laid up for 3-4 months with a left elbow tendon injury. How do you replace that. The answer is you can’t. Good luck Lou , Kevin Weekes is good back up for maybe 10-15 games a season, but your talking about a guy that plays 70 plus games a year and is consistent as hell doing it. How many games have you seen where the New Jersey Devils are done without Martin there as the last line. He also handles the puck so well that his “D” get a break on most clears, Allsports thinks there are going to be New Jersey defense men lip prints in the glass.

Maybe this injury is part of the whole thing. Brodeur has played so much over the years that he finallly got a wear related injury. Well I guess we will see now just how good the New Jersey Devils are now. Lou Lamarillo lets see what a hockey genius you are now.
