Tim Tebow: Denver Broncos Will Embarass Franchise If They Start Tebow at QB
The Denver Broncos clearly have a No. 1 option on their roster at the quarterback position.
That quarterback is not named Tim Tebow.
Kyle Orton has reportedly been the best quarterback in training camp.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Orton started 13 games for the team last year and while he put up a poor record, his individual numbers weren’t bad at all.
The team struggled on defense and in the running game.
Elvis Dumervil, an All-Pro linebacker, was lost for the season before it began with a torn pectoral muscle. He recorded 17 sacks in 2009 and his production was sorely missed.
Champ Bailey, the anchor in the Broncos secondary, had a sub-par season as well, grabbing just two INTs and recording 41 tackles.
Knowshon Moreno, a first-round pick in 2009, had only 779 rushing yards and Tebow was the second leading rusher with 227. Losing LenDale White to a torn Achilles tendon before the season definitely hurt.
Orton projects to be a solid starter this season and if the team can avoid the injury bug, should lead the team to another respectable record. He went 8-8 in his first season with the team and projects to be better this year.
If the Broncos somehow, someway decide to go with Tim Tebow as their starter, then they would not be putting themselves in the best position to win.
Tebow starting would be an embarrassment and a slap in the face to the fans and players of the Denver Broncos.
Just because the man was drafted with a high first round pick last year does not mean they have to panic and rush him into a spot where he clearly is not ready.
Plenty of quarterbacks, including Super Bowl winner Aaron Rodgers, waited patiently on the bench for years until they were groomed and deemed ready to start.
Tebow starting now would be a publicity stunt and a ridiculous move that would sink the franchise and perhaps even ruin Tebow’s career.
