Real Madrid's Top 13 Goals of the 2010-11 Season (Video)

0 of 13

Los Merengues scored 148 goals in all competitions this past season under the defensive José Mourinho. Not only did they reach the semi-finals of the Champions League, but Real Madrid was able to lift the Copa Del Rey.

With an extremely skilled attacking line-up featuring the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Angel Di Maria, and Mesut Özil, they were destined for some magnificent strikes. Here are 13 of the most beautiful!

Ricardo Kaká vs. Valencia

1 of 13

Oh how I miss Kaká of the AC Milan days; countless injuries have plagued his playing time in Madrid. Still, the Brazilian still has the touch within him.

After nutmegging the Valencia defender, he carefully curved it around the keeper. Just amazing.

Despite coming in a non-important match as Barcelona had already claimed the top spot in La Liga, it was a tremendous sign that Kaká still has what it takes to leave his mark in Los Blancos' glorious history books.

Karim Benzema vs. Levante

2 of 13

The French Maestro wasn't having a great season at this point, not scoring many goals. But an 8-0 thrashing of Levante (in which he had a hat trick), was all Benzema needed to break out for the first time at the Santiago Bernabéu.

In true Cristiano Ronaldo fashion, Karim beat the helpless defense with his precise step-overs and finally buried it into the opposite corner of the net in the first goal.

Karim Benzema vs. Sevilla

3 of 13

This was truly Karim Benzema's breakout season. With 26 goals and 6 assists, the Frenchman solidified his starting place in the Real Madrid lineup.

The goal in the semi-final of the Copa Del Rey showed Real Madrid's brilliant short passing, Benzema's trickery with close dribbling on the ball, and his lethal shot to advance into the final of the competition.

Cristiano Ronaldo (x2) vs. Villareal

4 of 13

Okay, this might be cheating, but both of Cristiano's goals against Villarreal were completely amazing. With these, the Portuguese locked up the Pichichi and became La Liga's leading all-time goalscorer, surpassing Real Madrid legend Hugo Sanchez.

These free kicks were the quintessential Ronaldo: power and accuracy. He was able to score in the top left corner of the net with the utmost power. The goalkeeper had no chance!

Ángel Di María vs. Real Sociedad

5 of 13

The Argentine is known for his dribbling and shooting accuracy with his left foot, but he has an amazing right foot as well!

The former Benfica man had a great season with Madrid because of these kind of performances and will surely be a regular starter next season.

After cutting away from one of the Basques' defenders, he produced a screamer into the right corner of the net. Just look at Aitor Karanka's reaction in the right-bottom corner at 0:11.

Marcelo Vieira vs. Málaga

6 of 13

This was a great team goal, and can be found at the 1:50 mark in this video.

Los Merengues' success this year was attributed to their great team-play and cohesiveness.

Not only does Marcelo have great defensive prowess, but he also has a knack for scoring marvelous goals.

Once Ronaldo passed the ball to Di Maria, he made a great pass over the Málaga defense to the Brazilian, who buried it into the side netting from a very tight angle. He even seemed stunned at how amazing it was afterwords!

Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Real Zaragoza

7 of 13

CR7 is the free-kick master, no doubt about that. I cannot blame the goalkeeper for looking so nervous before his strike.

This was by far Cristiano's best free-kick of the season. From 30 yards out, he was able to smash it into the left corner of the net. Pure power. Leo Franco looked utterly helpless after his team's wall was unable to stop the Portuguese.

Karim Benzema vs. Almería

8 of 13

This was a classic counterattacking-style team goal that came in the last match of the season. At least it ended with a bang!

Sergio Ramos started it off with a great long ball to Cristiano Ronaldo, and after a great one-two with Emmanuel Adebayor, the former Manchester United man completed an incisive pass to Benzema who buried his shot through the keeper's legs. Team play at its finest!

Ángel Di María vs. Tottenham

9 of 13

Di María's unbelievable strike sealed Real Madrid's progress to the semi-final after thrashing Spurs at the Santiago Bernabéu. The match was one of the best displays in the Champions League this year, pitting Los Blancos against a tough, scrappy opponent.

This was similar to the Argentine's strike against Real Sociedad, but this shot was drilled in with his stronger left foot. It curved around the reach of Gomes, landing precisely into the top left corner. Simply insane!

Esteban Granero vs. Real Murcia

10 of 13

The Copa Del Rey tie against second division side Real Murcia seemed like it would be quite predictable, but no one could have predicted that Granero, who is not a regular starter for Madrid, would have such an amazing individual goal.

The Real Madrid youth product perfectly timed his shot after a pass from fellow countryman Pedro León. He was able to smash it right into the top of the middle of the net from the outside of the penalty area!

Emmanuel Adebayor vs. Racing Santander

11 of 13

Mesut Özil is Real Madrid's new superstar, thanks to his amazing 24 assists and incredible vision. Emmanuel 'Manolito' Adebayor has become a fan favorite after the 8 goals he contributed in limited playing time over the course of the season.

Here, the duo linked up in a amazing one-two, leaving the Racing Santander defense in shambles. Even when the German international had a clean shot on goal, he unselfishly passed back to his Togolese teammate.

Of couse, the striker calmly scored in front of the open goal. This helped gain Adebayor's confidence early on in his loan spell.

Karim Benzema vs. Ajax

12 of 13

Karim Benzema opened up the Champions League match through a great goal, but he cannot get all the credit. It must go to Madrid's midfield maestros: Xabi Alonso and Mesut Özil.

After a great long pass from the Alonso and a Guti-esque pass from the German, Benzema was able to catch the keeper off guard and shoot into the top right corner.

José Mourinho found the signing of the season in the unselfish Özil, who is already on the path to becoming Real Madrid's next great superstar.

Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Barcelona

13 of 13

Could any other golazo be Number One? I don't think so.

Cristiano Ronaldo answered his critics by scoring in one of the most important games of his career. Real Madrid finally broke the deadlock and beat FC Barcelona for the first time in years.

Marcelo and Di María had a great one-two, and the Argentine delivered a perfectly timed and placed cross to Cristiano, who precisely headed pass Pinto in the Catalan goal.

Good things will come for Real Madrid next year!

What do you think of my choices? Any goals you'd like to add?
