Al Davis Self Destructing The Raiders

 First and foremost I wanna say that De Angelo Hall was brought into Oakland to replace Asomugha he wasn't brought in so that Oakland would have the best corner tandem in the league for the next 6 to 8 years. That would have never happened because there would have never been enough cap room to keep both players. The plan was to franchise Asomugha one more year knowing he would only sign the tender it if he got one of those Lance Brigg type of deals were he would become a free agent after the 09 season and then Oakland would let him go because there would be no cap room. But Al Davis after seeing Hall didn't become that shut down corner he envisioned made the stupid move of cutting him when he could have waited till the end of the season and traded him to at least cut the losses.

I never sought I would say this but Al Davis needs to go he is destroying any chance of the raiders have of succeeding now or in the near future. Even after firing Lane Kiffin I still supported every stupid move Al Davis made I found excuses for him but now I can't find one for waiving Hall this was just the stupidest move Al Davis could have made. Not only did he Hall make 1 million per game but we lost a second round pick we could have used on a Wide Receiver and knowing Al he would have taken Donnie Avery who is playing pretty well in St. Louis and would have became the deep threat for Russell. The only plausible reason I could think of for waiving Hall  is that after Hall struggled he decided to just invest Hall's money roughly around 16 million for the 09 season in a contract for Asomugha but Mr Davis guess what Asomugha isn't going to resign with Oakland not even if you threw 20 million a year for him because he is so tired of all your stupid moves he is just gonna move on.

The way the Raider Franchise is headed in none of the players whose contract are up at the end of this season will want to return. Kirk Morrison's contract is up at the end of the season and im pretty sure he is second guessing wether he wants to resign with the team. The only reason Kirk might stay is becasue he is a oakland naitive who grew up loving the Raiders just like all of us have. Also I have serious doubts about any good qualiy free agents wanting to come to the Raiders and if they do its probabaly because Mr Davis will severly over pay them to come to Oakland. Lets all hust hope that Jamarcus Russell isnt a bust and that Darren Mcfadden isnt made of glass or else we will be set back for at least another 5 to 8 years.
