PGA: 9 Things Tiger Woods Didn't Do During His Time Away from Golf

Immer ChriswellJun 7, 2018

As Tiger Woods returns from his hiatus from the PGA Tour, it's really dawned upon many what the man's life entailed for so many years. However, with people finding his personal life so entertaining now, one can only wonder what he's doing.

Woods' personal life has remained as closed off as ever, with his Twitter only giving a peek into what he wants you to see about his life.

But let's not focus about what Woods did do. Let's think of what he didn't do.

Meet with Sean Foley

1 of 9

This one is relatively well documented and can serve some purpose for speculation. Is Woods going to dump Foley already? Will Woods do his own swing corrections now? How many more swing changes will he make?

Simply put, Woods didn't meet with Foley to go over his swing. Maybe he didn't want him finding out he altered something, or maybe he just didn't want to think about golf for a little while.

Whatever it was, it kept the Canadian away from him. But the hiatus is over, and as the picture shows Woods did have Foley present to warm up for the tournament.

Hit Golf Balls

2 of 9

At the range at least. Woods has confirmed he practiced his putting and avoided hitting balls, sticking with the "100 percent theory."

Woods kept away from the balls on the range, so that begs the question: How is his golf swing going to look? A layoff of his proportion is pretty difficult to overcome if the swing wasn't perfected prior. And it wasn't.

Talk to Elin

3 of 9

Want to hear an awkward conversation? Try Tiger and Elin. Hopefully Woods was a good father and got to see Sam and Charlie, because if not, his layoff didn't have a true bonus.

However, even if he did it was most likely his lawyer who called up Elin to say Tiger wanted a little visitation with the two children that he knows he fathered.

Talk to Anthony Galea

4 of 9

After how bad Dr. Anthony Galea screwed up, he's most likely going to lose the title of "doctor" not to mention serve prison time.

Galea cast a dark shadow over Woods, but he hasn't yet gone Jose Canseco accusing every person regardless of what they did. In fact, Galea's lawyers denied all reports for Woods.

So if Woods needs a plasma therapy he won't be calling up Galea anytime soon.

Hit Up the Bars

If he did, Woods certainly paid a pretty penny to have his own private room and keep everyone quiet.

It was the lifestyle he led that took him down, so hope that he's not going back.

Care What the Media Says

6 of 9

Woods can watch all the TV he wants. If he's watching a golf show he will eventually be mentioned, and the skepticism that they have means nothing to Tiger.

He could care less what the media speculates about because in the end it's when he's back in the spotlight that the story is from the source.

Leave His House

7 of 9

Woods' has a pretty sweet pad. Who would leave that thing? He's got everything in there.

I tried to put in an application for the grounds crew there, but I couldn't find a listing for Woods, Tiger in Florida.

Steroids

8 of 9

He never has done them. Face it. So he didn't do them during his break. The man on this slide, however, did.

Care About Feelings

9 of 9

Woods doesn't like people helping others out. Or maybe he didn't care and was going to separate from Steve Williams anyway.

There's a thousand different ways to hash it, with most of them showing that Woods thought about his career and what's best for him.

At this point can you blame him for trying to change up something other than his swing in his golf game?
