WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 09 Releasing This Sunday!

WWE Smackdown vs Raw was hyped to focus on Tag Teams, but not ignore singles competition at the same time. It turns out that a roster of unlockables made the cut too such as The Boogeyman, Jillian Hall, Layla, Mr.McMahon, and Ric Flair to name a few.They also have two wrestlers who are put in just for kicks, Tony and Masked Man.

Also confirmed is Chris Jericho's "Highlight Reel", which could make a major impact on his own story and others. There are two major modes in this game, Road To Wrestlemania and Career (which is replacing GM Mode.).

Career mode allows you to play with any superstar (including created), but Road To Wrestlemania will give only certain choices between Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Triple H, The Undertaker, Batista, Rey Mysterio,and John Cena. This game is the debut of the all fearing "Inferno Match" and also the main home for more extreme storylines where the storyline is centered around whoever you choose and wont repeat for any superstar.

One of the many improvements is the costumes. Kane's masked costume (the one he had before X-Pac and the nWo unmasked him) made the cut. This game has no legends, but don't be sad, at least Mr.McMahon and Ric Flair (who are kind of two legends as it is) are in the game. This is also the re-debut of current Smackdown superstars Shelton Benjamin and Victoria (who hasn't been on a game since WWE Raw Vs smackdown).

The game is expected to pick up lots of good reception.

To make things even sweeter, we are now able to download superstars to keep up to date. It has been announced that there is content for Ted Dibiase, Super Crazy, Evan Bourne,and Charlie Haas, and they say there will most likely be more as time goes on to keep the rosters up to date.

WWE "Smackdown vs Raw 09" may most likely be the best game since WWF "No Mercy" or WWE Smackdown "Here Comes The Pain" (which was the best Wrestling game for PS2).Is it the best Wrestling game ever? Buy it this Sunday and see for yourself!
