Gail Kim In The WWE Is Now Official

We have known for a while that former TNA knockout Gail Kim would be coming to the WWE, but now she is officially a WWE Diva. She was introduced at RAW's 800th show as the newest addition to the WWE Divas.

She of course has been a former Knockout Champion in TNA and some people don't know that she was a WWE Diva a while back and was a WWE Women's Champion. She left for TNA because she was not getting any time on TV.

She also was behind a lot of up and coming Divas at the time. And every year there was a diva search and a new diva would come in a steal more spot light, so Kim went where she knew she would be featured: TNA.

Vince McMahon saw how she had grown since joining TNA and the great wrestling ability she had developed and wanted her back. He basically tripled her TNA salary, and she took the leap.

It was not just for the money though, she also wanted to do more acting and the WWE would give her a better chance at that than TNA.

WWE has been trying ever since they went HD to get great divas that not only looked good, but could wrestle too. FCW, a training ground for WWE wrestlers, has been training more and more divas to be wrestlers instead of the pretty model type they once were.

It used to be that, women such as Torrie Wilson were in the WWE as eye candy and not really involved in the wrestling world. They were asked to wrestle and were never that good. So now the WWE is trying to get them involved as interviewers first while they learn to wrestle.

They are not just throwing them into the fire and they are not just hiring off the street anymore. The diva search is out because of the fact of the WWE wanting to get trained divas who can wrestle now, instead of eye candy models.

Then once they learn they are moved to the wrestling part. WWE Divas such as Gail Kim are already established as great female competitors, so she should go straight to wrestling. It is unclear of which brand she will go to though.

It is narrowed down to SmackDown and RAW, which both have a title for women. What brand do you want to see Gail Kim in?
