2011 Fantasy Football Sleepers

James Hatfield Jun 7, 2018

We have been through an extremely busy past couple weeks with intense movement throughout the league.  There are many fantasy football sleepers to begin to target as drafts begin.

I have a full list of sleepers in the 2011 Draft Guide, but here are a couple to "wet your whistle." These three targets can both be had in the later to last rounds of your draft, but are worthy bye week fillers with potential to put up numbers.

Andre Roberts (WR, Arizona Cardinals) - Steve Breaston followed Coach Haley to the Kansas City Chiefs.  This allows Andre Roberts to step into the position opposite Larry Fitzgerald.  With the new acquisition of Kevin Kolb, the WR2 in Arizona tends to put up solid production.  The buyer beware is that Arizona is on a rampage picking up new players, and it wouldn't surprise me to see Arizona pursue a Braylon Edwards type of player.  If a name like Edwards comes into town, take Roberts off your list.

Mike Sims-Walker (WR, St. Louis Rams) - The Rams needed a WR badly and all they found was Mike Sims-Walker.  Mike will be a major target in StL for Bradford, and I expect MSW to put up fairly solid numbers for 2011.  I would draft him as a bye week filler, but he has upside to move into a starter position. HOWEVER, I need to see him produce before he becomes a starter for me.

Tashard Choice (RB, Dallas Cowboys) - Felix Jones will get hurt in 2011 and who knows how long he will be out.  TRUE, no one can predict the future, but be prepared and have Choice ready to roll.  I see Choice getting into the mix during the season, but he will skyrocket in value if Jones is hurt.  It's happened every year so far that Felix gets hurt so I do expect it to happen.
