NFL Free Agency: WR Randy Moss Plans To Retire
Despite Randy Moss and his agent claiming that he's in "freakish shape," the former NFL great wide receiver has decided to hang up his cleats.
ESPN Insider Adam Schefter is reporting that the 13-year veteran wide receiver plans to retire after weighing his possible options in free agency.
Moss undoubtedly is a future Hall of Fame wide receiver and had one of the most illustrious receiving careers in NFL history.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The 34-year-old most recently played for the Tennessee Titans in 2010; a lost year for Moss.
Moss spent time with three teams last season: four games with New England, four games with Minnesota and the final eight games with Tennessee.
Moss' most memorable years came as a New England Patriot, where he cemented himself as a future first-ballot Hall of Famer. The former Patriot snagged 259 balls during his four years in New England while scoring an astounding 50 touchdowns.
2007 was Moss' greatest season as he was an integral part of New England's record-breaking offense and their perfect 16-0 regular season. Moss reeled in 98 receptions, tallied up 1,493 receiving yards and caught a record-breaking 23 touchdowns.
Moss certainly ranks right up there with the best of all-time, Jerry Rice.
ProFootballTalk is indicating that Moss did not want to return to football in 2011 simply because teams were not going to pay the receiver the amount that he thought he was worth.
"Moss didn’t return to football because teams didn’t want to pay him. His pride is too big to battle for snaps and a roster spot on a low salary.
"
Moss will retire ranking fifth on the NFL all-time list in career receiving yards with a grand-total of 14,858 yards and ranks fifth all-time in total career touchdowns at 154.
I wouldn't be surprised if Moss decides to play a "Brett Favre," and return to football at some point in the near future, simply because his pride is too big to go out on such a negative note with the Titans, Vikings and Patriots.
