Osi Umenyiora Trade Rumors: Ravens, Seahawks Interested in Giants DE?
Osi Umenyiora is furious with the New York Giants GM Jerry Reese. The disgruntled defensive end, who just two days ago said he would never speak to Reese ever again, finally agreed to sit down and meet to discuss his future with the team.
Giants’ head coach Tom Coughlin said that ‘something’ good came from the discussions but all other reports say that the relationship between Reese and Osi is fractured and hanging by a thread.
The team has given Umenyiora the freedom to go ahead and seek a trade but reports have it that the price for him will be very steep.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Evan Silva broke news on Twitter that the team sources have said,
"“Anyone interested in Umenyiora would have to pay a severe price -- high draft picks plus a pile of cash in a long-term contract. The Seahawks and Ravens may be interested.”
"
Osi is going to need to be moved no matter what the cost. The longer he stays sulking in New York, the more the constant media coverage and locker room issues are going to affect the team's morale.
Umenyiora has a ridiculously low contract currently valued around 2-year/$8 million. He wants to be paid like a top-flight defensive end and he should.
Charles Johnson of the Carolina Panthers just got a ridiculous six-year, $72 million deal with $30 million guaranteed. His only good season came last year when he racked up 11.5 sacks.
Guess how many Osi had last year? 11.5.
Osi should be paid like a top DE and the Giants should trade him to someone who will, if they won’t restructure.
The Seahawks and Ravens are both teams that have money to spend and the need for a great DE.
If Osi doesn't get traded or a new deal, look for him to be sulking until he gets paid and possibly sabotaging the Giants season as he has done with his relationship with Reese.
