Oakland Raiders: Two Teams Have Dropped Out Of Race for Nnamdi Asomugha
I know I may be too late to make this plea for Cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha.
I will do it anyway.
There are a ton of things in the works right now for the Oakland Raiders and a lot of this hinges on what Asomugha decides to do.

Offseason Moves for Every Team 👉
It seems the longer this thing plays out, the more hope there is that the cornerback stays in a Raiders uniform.
Are the Raiders trying desperately to clear salary cap space in a last-ditch effort to afford the most highly sought-after free agent in the NFL?
Raiders Linebacker Kamerion Wimbley is reportedly supposed to meet with team officials in the very near future to discuss his contract. If all goes well, this could clear a lot of cap space for Oakland.
Another fly in the ointment for fans hoping that Nnamdi will stay in Oakland is the fact that the club is pursuing Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Jared Gaither. Acquiring Gaither would come at a hefty price and would all but kill any hope for keeping Asomugha.
Another thought that perplexes me, is why would the Raiders show interest in New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie when he would cost a boat load of money as well? Just keep No. 21 if you’re going to spend big money anyway.
I’m not being naive here; I know there is a possibility that Nnamdi might not want to stay in Oakland, if this is the case then every scenario in the world probably won’t keep him in Oakland.
Jets, Raiders, Cowboys, who knows? But until he signs on the dotted line with another team, then Raider nation still has hope.
I’m just saying!
Breaking News!
Actually, I might have the answer to that, in a recent story on YardBarker.com, according to NFL Network’s Albert Breer, the New York Jets are out of the running for Asomugha.
NFL Network's Michael Lombardi stated that the Dallas Cowboys are also out of the mix.
