College Football Pick'em Week 10 Results
Like any good gambler I decided to jump right back onto the horse that bucked me a few weeks ago and started picking games last week.
Luckily for me, last I was pretty solid with my picks and showed huge amounts of improvement over my performance from the previous week. Well, I guess that was not a difficult task considering I went 1 for 6 just a few weeks ago.
Check out how much I improved last week and let me know what you think.
Florida 49 vs. Georgia 10
The Florida Gators came out with a purpose and they absolutely dominated. Right now Florida is playing the best football in the country as of right now, and sadly chances are they will not get a chance to play for the national title. The Gators were six point favorites and they covered that spread and won the game easily.
Texas Tech 39 vs. Texas 33
This was without a doubt the best game I have watched in a very long time. The only downside would be I was flat out wrong with my prediction. Texas Tech may not be the biggest scam in college football, but they are still up there. Great game great win on Saturday night, but they won’t stay atop the polls for very long.
Cal 26 vs. Oregon 16
Cal is attempting to put their stamp on the Pac-10 and knocking off pesky Oregon definitely helped their cause. More importantly Cal was a three point favorite and they stepped up by getting the win and covering the spread just like I predicted, way to go Golden Bears.
Michigan State 25 vs. Wisconsin 24
This game actually lived up to the early season hype, too bad neither team is ranked high enough to really matter. This Big 10 matchup also put me in the difficult position of making the smart choice for gambling but I missed the winner. Wisconsin was a four point underdog, and they covered, but they failed to get the win for me.
Miami 24 vs. Virginia 17
For the first time all year UVA was actually favored in a game and they promptly went out and dropped the ball. A 2.5 point favorite the Cavaliers just could not get out of their own way and the chips did not fall in their favor against the Baby Canes. Miami came in and got the “upset.”
South Carolina 27 vs. Tennessee 6
Once again Philip Fulmer proved why he is a horrible head coach, and why no one will shed a tear when he leaves Tennessee at the end of this season. South Carolina was a six point favorite and I thought some how the Vol’s could knuckle up and just cover the spread, they didn’t need to win it.
