TNA News: TNA Website Promoting 'CM Punk Is Coming'
In what can only be described as a shallow attempt at capitalizing off CM Punk's recent media surge, TNA posted on their website that CM Punk is Coming to TNAonDemand.com.
Yes, you read right, TNA is promoting old CM Punk footage from his days with TNA. For those of you that don't know, Punk wrestled for TNA prior to WWE. He lasted for almost a year before moving on to greener pastures.
I personally am a huge fan of TNA. However, when they pull stunts like this and Sting's return it angers me. I get they are trying to create a buzz, but they are late to the prom yet again.

This should have been decided almost a month ago after Punk's promo. Unfortunately, whoever runs TNA's promotion just seems to be two steps behind when it comes to current events. If they really wanted to draw buzz, they should have promoted this on-air right after his contract "expired."
Just like the Sting promo, which should have ran in conjunction to the Undertaker promo to get fans watching. Well long story sort, if you're looking to see Punk's earlier days then head to tnaondemand.com or look for some TNA DVD's featuring Punk.
Otherwise, you can see the real deal and tune into RAW for free to keep up-to-date with the current story line.
