Chelsea To Recall Young Loan Star?
Chelsea are rumoured to be ready to recall one of their young loan players in January.
According to Former South Africa under-23 international, Jeffrey Ntuka, Chelsea want to have a look at him in the New Year.
Apparently we signed Ntuka in 2003 but he’s been on loan in the Belgian Jupiler League since then.
Ntuka is a product of the South African Soccer School of Excellence. The 20 year old is a right-sided midfielder who can also play in defence and he was sent to Belgium side KVC Westarlo in order to gain experience around the European style of football. The youngster started making a name for himself in the 2005/06 season, most notably with a man-of-the-match performance against previously unbeaten Anderlecht, which KVC Westarlo won 2-1. Ntuka is one of his country’s most promising young players and made his senior debut for South Africa in a 3-2 friendly defeat to Senegal.
Anyway, the versatile midfielder has now sorted the permit he needs to work in England and says “Chelsea want to see me in January, I need to go there and train with the first team. Hopefully, I’ll stay there because, as I said before, I now have my Belgian passport so it’s a lot easier to get a work permit to play in England. Hopefully, I will impress like I did when Jose Mourinho was still in charge.”
