Chelsea Dos Santos Link Resurfaces

With January sneaking up on us, it seems the rumours from the summer are already starting to resurface and the latest one of these is around Chelsea’s plans to launch a bid for Tottenham’s Giovanni Dos Santos.

We were linked with the 19 year old Mexican over the summer, although he thought he’d get more opportunities with at Spurs. As it turned out though, the former Barcelona star, previously labelled ‘the new Ronaldinho’, has made just three starts since the summer and hasn’t touched the turf at all since Juande Ramos’ last game in charge against Udinese.

So, with the disillusioned seemingly not figuring in Harry Redknapp’s plans and the new manager possibly needing a few bob to move the club out of the relegation zone, recent reports suggest Luiz Felipe Scolari might put a bid in for the £4.7million Dos Santos when the transfer window opens.

Unsurprisingly though, there appears to be a shortage of quotes from both clubs.
