ACC Predictions: Week 11
(23) Maryland at Virginia Tech
Virginia Tech steps up, and the split personality of Maryland shows the inept side tonight. Lane Stadium on a Thursday night will not allow Maryland to win.
Winner: Virginia Tech
(19) UNC at (22) Georgia Tech
This seems like it will depend on if GT quarterback Josh Nesbitt plays after suffering an injury against FSU last week. If Nesbitt plays and plays like he did against FSU, Georgia Tech wins. But with Nesbitt in question now, GT may have trouble against UNC.
Winner: UNC
Virginia at Wake Forest
Wake Forest escaped with a 33-30 win over Duke last week, but this year in the ACC, the previous week has no judgment on how teams perform the next. Virginia looks to bounce back after a loss to Miami and does so.
Winner: Virginia
N.C. State at Duke
One team has to settle for being the worst team in the ACC, and this will be the game.
Winner: Duke
Clemson at (24) Florida State
This isn't the Bowden Bowl anymore, but FSU is still in the mix for a slot in the ACC Championship game in a month. A win over Clemson will keep them in the mix. The Seminoles look to end the Tigers' three-year winning streak over them.
Winner: FSU
Out of Conference
Notre Dame at Boston College
Boston College looks for Chris Crane to recover from his outing against Clemson last week but will have their hands full with Jimmy Clausen. The Irish are out to establish themselves after last year's 3-9 record, and beating Boston College will make them one step closer to doing that.
Winner: Notre Dame
