NFL Free Agents 2011: Predicting the First 8 Free Agents Who Will Be Signed

Tony SantorsaJun 7, 2018

Believe it or not, NFL free agency is well underway after a five-month long lock out, but all is good in the world of football.

As teams started to contract free agents Tuesday for potential contracts, none of these can be made official until 6 p.m. Friday.

Here are my predictions for the first eight players to be official signed Friday.

Tarvaris Jackson

1 of 8

Many sources have now confirmed that free agent quarterback Tarvaris Jackson has agreed to a contract with the Seattle Seahawks.

The details of the contract is a two-year deal worth $8 million.

Matt Leinart

2 of 8

Matt Leinart has yet to agree to any contract offers, but there are several reports indicating that Leinart has been receiving interest from the Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks.

Wouldn't it be something if Pete Carroll and Leinart reunited in Seattle?

Charles Johnson

3 of 8

It is been confirmed by ProFootballTalk that the Carolina Panthers will sign defensive end Charles Johnson to a six-year, $76 million contract with a signing bonus of $30 million.

I guess that Panthers really wanted to hold onto Johnson.
