New York Yankees Trade Rumors: Possible Deal for Jimenez Not Dead Yet
It seems like the rumor mill surrounding Ubaldo Jimenez came and went pretty quickly, but if you believe Jon Paul Morosi of Fox Sports, there is still around a 50-50 chance that the Rockies will deal their young ace.
Morosi reported this information via a major league source, which could be anybody. Still, a 50-50 chance is a lot more optimistic than anybody else has been lately, so perhaps there is a chance that the Yankees could still land him.
Chances are they will keep trying right up until the very last minute, as the market for starting pitching is not exactly impressive. The Yankees' rotation has been good enough that if they are not making a deal for Ubaldo, they probably shouldnโt make a deal for anybody.
