New York Yankees Trade Rumors: Yankees Not Pursuing Edwin Jackson
We heard earlier this week that the Yankees were scouting the White Sox with an eye on starter Edwin Jackson. However, Jack Curry of the YES Network reported yesterday that the Yankees arenโt pursuing him now and insist that they wonโt overpay for him.
It is interesting to note that even though the White Sox are not actively shopping any of their players, they are spending time scouting the Yankees' farm system in case they change their minds and decide to sell, according to Joel Sherman of the NY Post.
So while a deal may not be brewing right now, the White Sox are a team to keep an eye on.

Other potential players on the Sox that the Yankees could be interested in include starter John Danks and lefty relievers Matt Thornton and Will Ohman (none of these players have been connected to the Yankees in rumors yet).
