Oakland Raiders: Taking Out The Garbage
There comes a time, when things no longer work, players no longer perform, and even the dreams turn to nightmares.
After Sunday's game against the Falcons, it was pretty obvious that changes needed to be made. But the question is going to be the same, either way.
By taking out the garbage, do we help the club, or hurt it?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
First of all, is DeAngelo Hall. For all his dollars, we've seen him get burned a few times, make 3 picks, and if we cut him loose, we paid him 8 million dollars for 8 games.
Ack.
Same problem presents itself for Javon Walker. At least Javon got into the end zone once, but is nowhere near what we expected for his money. If we wanted 13 catches and one TD, we might be able to get that for a tenth of the money....just go call Tim Brown.
But for money in the range Randy Moss got last year....it's a form of insanity.
One of the other big dollar boys, to mention, would probably be Tommy Kelly, who has 31 tackles, but only one Sack. Frightening.
The rumor mill has about 12-15 players on the watch, and depending on who goes, then we have to wonder who comes back to replace the leaving players?
Stanford Routt is a good CB, but has had gaps in his playing ability.
Chaz is coming along nicely for the Raiders, but is still raw....given time, he might come around.
Just a parting thought.
When Al takes the garbage out.....
Will someone close and lock the door behind him?
