Moving Today's Market

It's another quiet night in the sports world on this Election Day, with the exception of a full NHL schedule. There has been some intriguing plays on games on the ice, including a few plays on the Coyotes/Flames and the Ducks against the Kings. The Flames opened as -170 at Pinnacle and has since decreased to -160. The amount of bets are even on both sides, but the three Smart Money plays triggered on the Coyotes have forced the line to decrease. One of the Smart Money plays was triggered by TradeSports (+11.04 units). The divisional rivalry game between the Sharks and Ducks are getting some attention. The Ducks opened at Pinnacle favored by -155 and has decreased to -142, despite 67% of the public's money line wagers are on Anaheim. This is an example of Smart Money play on the Kings and two of those alerts have been triggered, including one at 5Dimes (5-0-0, +6.98 units).

In the NBA, the Suns against the Nets are drawing attention from the professional bettors. Phoenix opened at -4 with Pinnacle and increased to -7. Most sportsbooks monitored by Sports Insights has the line either at -6.5 or -7. Nets forward Vince Carter is probable with a hand injury so this could be the reason for the spike in the spread, and the public has pounded the side of the Suns as they are receiving 78% of the spread bets. The three Smart money plays triggered on the Nets have not stopped the line from increasing, and all three sportsbooks have positive units won. They were CRIS (+0.60 units), ThePig (+2.00 units) and WSEX (+0/90 units).
