Take On The Leader: The Final Chapter Volume 1.0

For a while now I have been in Bleacher Report, around three months almost. And during that time I have been No. 1 in the wrestling section and a former one-week community leader. I have made people angry and made people happy.

I have done my job here with pride and yet it was ridiculed my first month here and still, to this day, people try to top me, but I stand strong anyway. The wrestling section I normally write for is growing and at a fast rate.

I like to think I have helped that come to pass, as well as some of the great writers here on B/R. Guys like the wrestling community leader Ron Johnson, Ross Rutherford, Shane Howard, and even though we don't see eye to eye, Ryan.

All of these guys have represented what it takes to be a writer on B/R and yet some of them get ridiculed as I was. And for what, because we like wrestling.

Some of you who read this "Take on the Leader" may have thought I was going to go on the same rant as I usually do, but I will try not to, so sorry. I, do however, have to say something about this.

No one here cares that you hate wrestling, or dislike it or even think it is a soap opera. We have heard it all before. Everyone on the wrestling section has been wrestling fans almost their whole lives, some their entire. We do know what goes on in wrestling; we are not stupid.

To you out there who have tried to "dethrone" me, I could care less if I stay No. 1 in the wrestling section; I can write about anything almost. Lamar and others have tried to get me off by trying to call me Funaki or other dumb things.

Some have even tried to cite my work and say it's from somewhere else. Obviously the news is from somewhere else, where do you think I get it from? I write about it and then give my opinion. It's what I have been doing all along.

They have even tried to cite three sentences in one of my articles that was from somewhere else. If it's news, it's everywhere. I usually tell you the news and give my opinion, so why credit one source when it could come from anywhere?

I'll tell you all for future reference, it's true I never make up the news, it comes from other places, but I give a good opinion and analysis on it. And that makes me a writer, whether you choose to agree or not.
 
I thought I wouldn't go on a rant, but well I did, sorry again. But as for you bashers or "dethroners," get over it, Joe Burgett isn't going anywhere. Sorry to disappoint you.

"Take on the Leader" is one of the most popular things I ever did and it will be back, just with a different name, and you'll know it when you see it, but for me, it's time to shake things up. Credit to Vince McMahon, happy?
