Any Big 12 defensive coordinator has to wince when glancing over his squad’s national rankings for defensive stats. Keep in mind that the Huskers have faced four of the most prolific scoring offenses in the USA over the past month and a half. Other Big 12 schools like Colorado, Baylor, Missouri, Iowa State and Kansas State rank behind the Huskers in most of these defensive rankings.
