Roberto Mancini Wants Real Madrid Permanent Deal for Emmanuel Adebayor

Roberto Alvarez-GallosoJun 7, 2018

The latest transfer rumor concerning Real Madrid and Manchester City discussed Roberto Mancini (Manchester City Boss) and Emmanuel Adebayor.

According to an article published by Click Manchester.com, Mancini is expressing hope that a deal between Manchester City and Real Madrid would allow Emmanuel Adebayor to play for Real Madrid.

Adebayor has declared his intention to reject offers from other clubs in order to return to Real Madrid. The last time Adebayor was in Real Madrid was part of a loan during the January transfer window in the beginning of 2011.

It appears Emmanuel Adebayor has accomplished a lot in his short stay at the Santiago Bernabeu. Adebayor (in the Copa del Rey, UEFA Champions League, and La Liga) has played a total of 27 games with eight goals.

Adebayor has 1,180 minutes under his belt within the 27 games during his time with Real Madrid. Adebayor has four corner kicks, 29 fouls committed, 14 fouls drawn, 41 shots, one penalty kick, four yellow cards, one yellow card provoked by opponent, one red card provoked by opponent and 396 passes.

Whether Jose Mourinho is willing to deal with Mancini for Adebayor is anybody's guess. I will continue to monitor and report on this ongoing drama within the Summer Transfer Window of 2011.
