PW Top 25: Halloween Wreaks Havoc on WWE, TNA
Cyber Sunday started a trend that apparently carried over to all four major shows. The WWE is left wondering what the next step will be, while TNA will have to figure out why the hell WCW is coming back with vengeance. With that being said, here's this week's Top 25. Feel free to wonder what is going on in my crazy mind.
1) The Undertaker (SD!)
The Deadman finished the job he started with Big Show at Cyber Sunday. Then delivered another knockout blow to the Power Couple by sending Chavo straight to hell via a WTP Casket Match. What’s next for the Phenom? Vladimir Kozlov next week on SD!

2) The Hardyz (ECW & SD!)
The fans love it when Matt and Jeff reunite if only for one night every few months. After last week, despite the loss at Cyber Sunday, Jeff helped his brother and Rey Mysterio get a measure of revenge on Kane and Mark Henry with a six man tag victory in the 619.
3) Main Event Mafia (TNA)
Led by TNA World Champion Sting, the Mafia continued its mission for respect by recruiting its final member in the returning Scott Steiner. But it’s clear that Steiner is conflicted with his allegiance and loyalty with Maple Leaf Muscle Petey Williams. There is that and of course…
4) Young Lions (TNA)
The Lions united on Thursday night only to get dropped by the Mafia at the end of the night. But they got good news from Mick Foley: Joe gets Nash and AJ Styles gets Sting for the gold at Turning Point. Now the Lions have to regroup and get even with the Mafia.
5) The Kings of Punk (RAW)
The duo of Kofi Kingston and CM Punk got another notch of revenge as they not only defeated Team Priceless, they also became World Tag Team Champions in the process. But the war is far from over. Expect this to be a Survivor Series match in the making.
6) Batista (RAW)
The Animal ended his quest to become World Heavyweight Champion by cashing in on the assistance of Stone Cold Steve Austin and defeating Chris Jericho on Sunday. Then he single-handedly destroyed JBL and Jericho on RAW. Now he has to face the former World Champion on RAW inside a Steel Cage.
7) Awesome Kong (TNA)
The Mastodon of the Knockouts finally got the victory over Taylor Wilde in Vegas, but to top it all off, she got back the Knockouts Championship. But she will have to deal with both Wilde and Roxxi at Turning Point this Sunday.
8) Evan Bourne (ECW)
This guy has all the moves and all the knowledge to take him to the top of the ECW Jungle. At Cyber Sunday, he came up a little short of winning the gold, but he put up one hell of an effort. Unfortunately, he may be on the shelf due to a high ankle sprain.
9) Rey Mysterio (RAW)
The Ultimate Underdog went 3 for 3 this week as he put on a great showing against Kane & Bourne and then went to his hometown to give the 619 something to cheer about as he helped his team to victory on SmackDown!
10) Mick Foley (TNA)
One week after announcing that he’s part owner of TNA, Foley made two big matches for Turning Point: Styles vs. Sting for the TNA World Title and Samoa Joe vs. Kevin Nash. It’s clear that he will have even more tricks up his sleeve with one week until the pay per view.
11) Eddie Guerrero (WWE Hall of Fame)
Now everyone is going to be wondering what I’m smoking. But WWE announced that a special edition Eddie Guerrero DVD will be out sometime this week or next week. In honor of that, Latino Heat will get the nod for this week’s Top 25.
12) The Colons (SD!)
Carlito and Primo have been more dominant than usual since winning the WWE Tag Team Titles from Hawkins and Ryder. But they seem to be having problems in the pick up department…that begs the question: Is there two Brie Bellas?
13) Ezekial Jackson (SD!)
Zeke is the only reason that The Brian Kendrick got his only shot at the WWE Championship. When is the BPS going to get the point and toss that Raggedy Andy wannabe to the curb and pursue the gold for himself?
13) Triple H (SD!)
The Game proved that he’s still got it…even though he’s been playing dad more than Champion since Stephanie had their latest child. Now he’s possibly got a date with Vladimir Kozlov at Survivor Series, that is if the Moscow Mauler can dethrone The Undertaker.
14) Vladimir Kozlov (SD!)
He lost the chance to face Triple H via the fans’ vote. Now he isn’t letting them decide his fate. His road is simple: Destroy The Phenom. Get your shot at Triple H. Easier said than done Vlad.
15) Chris Jericho (RAW)
Jericho has been on a rampage since losing. He’s blamed the fans. He’s blamed Adamle. He even blamed Stone Cold for not counting him out. Now he has a chance to get the gold back on RAW’s 800th Episode…inside a Steel Cage.
16) Stone Cold Steve Austin (WWE)
Austin 3:16 says I just stunned your ass! Thanks to Stone Cold Steve Austin, Batista is the World Champion, Jericho got what he deserved and someone finally shut Orton up for a little bit. That is until…
17) Randy Orton (RAW)
Even with a broken collarbone, Orton has made it clear that he is the franchise of RAW. But he got a stunner for his interference in the World Championship match at Cyber Sunday. Now he’s given the ultimate ultimatum: It’s either Adamle or him!
18) The Great Khali (SD!)
Even though he hasn’t wrestled in a few weeks, The Great Khali has become a pretty enjoyable sight on SmackDown! Now he will continue his witty ways when he unleashes another Khali Kiss Cam this Friday on SmackDown!
19) Jack Swagger (ECW)
He finally earned his spot by defeating Tommy Dreamer this past Tuesday. The question is what’s next for The All American American Bore? Who cares? He’s nothing more than the Spawn of JBL’s Ego anyway.
20) Beer Money (TNA)
Beer Money suffered a setback when James Storm got dropped for a loss on IMPACT! But it gets worse: They now know there is a ladder match between four of TNA’s biggest tag teams this Thursday night for the right to face them for the gold at Turning Point.
21) Hornswoggle (ECW)
The pint sized Irishman earned his spot by not only not getting rabies from biting Mark Henry in his 400-pound shin last Tuesday but also dropping WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas with a splash through the ropes.
22) Charlie Haas (RAW)
The enigma known as Charlie Haas continues to pull alter egos out of his arse. But they’ve been funnier every single week. But in all honesty, who makes the better Glamazon: Beth Phoenix or Charlie Haas?
23) The IC Trio (WWE Hall of Fame)
The Hot Rod and The Bizarre One set Santino Marella up this past Monday. But it was Honky Tonk Man who serenaded Santino into submission with a guitar shot to the dome. Be careful what you wish for Santino.
24) Mike Adamle (General Manager, RAW)
Big ups go out to Mike Adamle who finally found his balls last Monday. After Orton insulted his career and his family, Adamle snapped and slapped the taste out of his mouth. Now tomorrow night could be Adamle’s final night as GM as The Legend Killer has given them an ultimatum.
25) John Cena (RAW)
The Doctor is on the shelf, but his toughness has left an impact in his absence. Now everyone gets to see the return of the Chain Gang Commander at Survivor Series. But it’s yet to be known to what extent Cena will be…but does it really matter?
